Questions about the Green Card Lottery. How can I find out how many green cards go to what countries?
I looked on their official website, but couldn’t find anything on that. Can anybody provide me with a website that lets me know how many green cards go to what countries?

You must apply between October 2, 2009, and November 30, 2009, or wait another year.
The list of eligible countries remains the same as last year. The following countries are not eligible: BRAZIL, CANADA, CHINA (mainland-born), COLOMBIA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, ECUADOR, EL SALVADOR, GUATEMALA, HAITI, INDIA, JAMAICA, MEXICO, PAKISTAN, PERU, PHILIPPINES, POLAND, SOUTH KOREA, UNITED KINGDOM (except Northern Ireland) and its dependent territories, and VIETNAM. Persons born in Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, and Taiwan are eligible.
You can check the list for last year’s lottery to see how many went to each country, but it is a lottery so that will not tell you how many will go to each country this year. 50,000 are up for grabs and of those 50,000 they don’t allocate them among countries other than to say certain countries do not qualify. Hope that makes sense. For more information see the attached article.
I had a link a while back but have forgotten it.Just google it or go to ask.com or uscis.gov perhaps.
