In Arlington, Virginia is one of the first counties in the country to develop its own certification eco-friendly home building, called Arlington Green Home Choice. The program defines a green home as a "healthy, comfortable, cost efficient home that reduces energy and water use and protects the environment. "Components of a green house (as indicated on the website of Arlington Green Home Choice) may include:

The Specific construction practices to minimize and recycle construction waste;
Care isolation practices;
Non-toxic finishes indoor (low VOC paint, sealants, and carpets);
Components made from renewable resources (such as cork or bamboo flooring, wheatboard cabinets);
Recycled content components (such as recycled glass tiles, recycled content countertops);
Energy-efficient appliances (Energy Rated Star refrigerator, dishwasher, water heater, etc);
Photovoltaic (solar) panels;
Water efficient appliances and garden watering (washing Front loading clothes and moisture sensing irrigation systems);

Blue / green stains in a toilet bowl?.?

No matter how hard I try, or what product I use that I can remove these stains the toilet bowl. Vertical stripes really are. I am a freshman undecided UCSD consider the main options. A concern I have is an added Eco Friendly Architecture and alternative building materials. In high school I designed a house on land protected and a house with straw bales for an Environmental Science class and it seemed very funny. Are there effective and environmentally friendly ways to launder their clothes?

I do my clothes at fairly low temperatures (30 – 40 degrees C) using eco-friendly liquid cleaning, trying to minimize environmental impact. Although this works well for people of color and shadow, my linen / bedding can do with a little help. Is there anything natural I might add in the wash to whiten them? Something (lemon juice? Vinegar? Sosa Bicarb? Totally different?) NB I-dried white sun as much as possible, but this is apparently not enough!
