I bought two of these units and assembled one 36 hours ago. When I went to lift it to put it in place, the whole thing collapsed. I also ordered two three shelf bookcases which I will refuse delivery on. I am extremely angry.
The returns options do not have any options about refusing delivery. It is extremely frustrating not to be able to contact anybody at Amazon about this.

This product could not support the weight of my record collection. It consists of particle board held together with glue. There are no screws or nails. I assembled the shelves and allowed it to set for 24 hours. After putting my record collection on it, it collapsed within two days.

This unit is very easy to assemble, very light, and very helpful. Its dimensions are great for most books, and it’s even eco-friendly. Excellent.

I ordered some direct from the manufacturer recently when they were offering free shipping — with free shipping, these are great!! Very sturdy and very easy to assemble. I am ordering more from amazon and hoping their selection continues to improve.
Their fake wood shelves look nicer than my ikea versions of the same, and the customizable options are amazing.
