Could do the same with building materials for a renewal or something similar to green, sustainable materials, such as Douglas fir, bamboo, recycled glass? How I can create a set of solar panels for my home base green. I would like to use recovered materials?

Get a copper coil 10 mm pipe from a plumber's merchant. Do not unwind and build a "squatting under a cold shut. Paint the reel with black paint. Plumb one end a small reservoir (water) and the other to the radiator (?) inside the greenhouse. The coil is heated inside the frame and hot water to create the convection flow in the coil. But a bomb to improve the flow if you can get one powered by solar / wind power.

Is it right to put the cooked material, like the skin of potato and green papers on the compost?

Have already been made for the use of 5 years and has only been making raw / uncooked produce, coffee, tea, eggshells and garden waste in it. Sorry – I meant green peppers. My mother tongue is German

Of course, even better if cooked. It will speed things up.

Is it possible to divert the contaminated soil to a green roof?

I'm working on a contaminated brownfield industrial land (especially inorganic materials such as metals). I wonder if there is any precedent for project construction or divert the contaminated soil at a site and applying it to the green roof, and remediate soil using plants. If so, it makes no harm to the occupants? I've heard of a method called "phytoremediation" plants that have the mitigation of metals. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phytoremediation

soils contaminated with metals will be very, very slow to be absorbed by plants … and plants would be toxic in themselves. They can not be burned, which would release the metal into the atmosphere. Just can not get rid metal and organic toxins do … metals are here to stay and are best handled through chemical means of collection and concentration. This is not something to play with … arsenic, strontium, etc., and may be in the soup!

Green-friendly building materials Echo?

which are interesting building materials recyclable? I refer to roofs and walls and inslation, floors and windows. I've seen of straw bale housing and ceilings can of beer, but I'm looking for something crazy, like carpets made from old swetars thrift stores or something like that, something really out in left field …

do not want recylclable or recycled content? There is an insulation made from recycled jeans. Many carpet is now made from recycled soda bottles. Some carpet companies "lease" of the carpet, which means it is not technically own once you've finished with him to retrieve and recycle (this is probably more for commercial use). Regarding U.S. Green Building Council website, do not have of resources that could offer a lot of information.

green construction materials In Austin these days, as in many of the country, people are going green construction practices. There is a much greater emphasis placed on efficiency energy and things of that nature, so the construction companies are jumping on board and do their part. So what are these trends green should be watching? In order to obtain LEED certification, builders have to follow some of the rules in terms of guarantees of origin and use of materials. Builders are going a little beyond that now, however. They are building homes with a big “green” awareness than ever. One of the ways that construction companies in Austin are going green is through their choice in bathroom accessories. When building a bathroom, you have some options in terms of bringing together an energy efficient facility. Many builders have opted to spend a little more Smart and install water-saving toilets. These toilets are a lot like the old that most people are accustomed, but the difference is that they recognize the amount exact water is required to perform the work with every download. This has helped a lot in areas where water scarcity is a problem during the warmer months. Similarly, the builders seem to be taking great care to reduce energy consumption in other areas of the house. Some builders have done so far as establish solar panels on their homes, but that is not fully established. What has taken hold to some extent, are the top induction stoves that save more energy than their older counterparts. Since these things are relatively easy to install and does not require a large additional cost, become something of a no-brainer when about having more environmentally conscious approach to construction. The same materials that are in the construction of many new homes in Austin should be mentioned when talking about green trends. This is an area where the manufacturers have greatly improved. They are actually searching for construction materials that are better for the environment in terms of heat retention and reduce energy consumption. Moreover, these materials emit less harmful products in the environment, which has been a concern in the past. rimboards structural insulated panels and insulated to meet the requirements in this category and are rising many of the new homes in Austin. The best builders in Austin have found a way to combine elements of style along with environmental concerns that many people have been trumpet. Because home buyers are now looking for these cost-effective options and more people are concerned with the environment has become more important than ever for people who build homes to find green options for the entire construction process. In high school I designed a house on land protected and a house with straw bales for an Environmental Science class and it seemed very funny. What would be important to pursue a career in this field? and what careers are available? I know it's a growing trend as the environment is degrading and I would do everything possible to help.
